$\mathbb{P}[\mu ]=\mathrm{Tr}[\rho E_{\mu }]$ describes the measurement probabilities for a Positive operator Valued Measure, where:

• $\rho$ is our state
• $E={\sum }_{\mu }{E}_{\mu }\dots$ is our POVM.
• $E_{\mu }$
• $\mu$ is one of the possible outcomes.
